We went out to check progress, and guess what??? They're gone, done, finit! Talked to the builders across the road and they said Paul or whoever was there at 5:45 this morning packing it up. Trailer's gone, all their equipment, wire, sink, etc....gone. The siding boxes that we ALREADY paid for are gone. Ya know, the little siding squares that go around your spigots, outlets, lights and whatnot. GONE. They were ours, you thief. Oh yea, and you never did return that rebar, THIEF!!
2 days shy of being a year to the day when he got his first draw, and he is at 60% completion. It's sort of cool that he's gone, we don't have to fire him now and can take care of this in court much neater. I guess it could have been really ugly. I just can't believe he was so ball-less to pull out at the crack of dawn without so much as a word to us. Doesn't surprise me though, I've been expecting it for a while now.
